As you can see a good flight enjoyed by all! So far everything is working smoothly. Arrived at our hotel mid afternoon and Gary off for his walk to explore area and nearby restaurants. Great hotel suite in the middle of the financial district which is under construction as you can see below.

We are staying in the financial district – the streets are filled with litter, the sidewalks are treacherous as they are very uneven, lots of holes (easy to break an ankle), sudden changes in level with high (unexpected steps) and steeps drops. Yet we are told a safe area to walk. We walked to a restaurant and it seemed safe, despite the sidewalk situation. The restaurant we went to tonight was basic, good food. Doesn’t seem to be any particular Panamanian dishes.
