We had a smooth flight and arrived in Miami. I thought I had booked a hotel in South Beach. Turned out to be a nicer hotel on Miami Beach.
Here we are at the airport – executive lounge breakfast.
After a drink at the Tiki bar and an early night we boarded the ship the next day. Two days at sea to enjoy this beautiful ship.
Gary & Rena at the Tiki bar.

Once on board, lunch, a ship tour, unpack & dinner at Jacques ( the French restaurant)

Looks like a great start to the cruise
Fantastic !! So that’s what a sunny day looks like !! Have a wonderful time. (what does the engine room look like?!!)
We tried to get in to see the engine room when we were on a cruise in November. We were told that the engine room was strictly for a selected set of employees only. NO ONE else was permitted. But, that was Royal Caribbean policy. It really would be interesting to see, if you could.
Spent many a day in ship engine rooms as a kid when we would visit the ship with dad – no biggie, hot, steamy, greasy and full of sailors!
I prefer the library and Horizons lounge.
